    Super Skin-Friendly Bath Products

Go To Super Skin-Friendly Natural Bath products

As a direct result of a conversation on a parenting forum I am excited to launch Maia’s latest range: Super Skin-Friendly for young and sensitive skins.

All colours and scents are from natural extracts, botanicals and aromatherapy oils and are nourishing, soothing and gentle.

Super Skin-Friendly is formulated especially for children and sensitive skins with gentle natural caring ingredients that nourish, protect and soothe the skin instead of causing irritation and itchy skin.

    • No Synthetic Colours
    • No Synthetic Fragrances
    • No SLS, SLES, sulphates
    • No parabens

We don’t use any of those ingredients anyway at Maia Skin Care but many so-called natural companies do.

Often when I chat to people and they ask what I do and I mention bath products an almost icy change happens in the conversation and they say ‘Oh I can’t use anything in the bath, I think I must be too sensitive.’

    Skincare for Sensitive Skin

    Chamomile for sensitive skin

If you have sensitive skin prone to irritation, redness, stinging and even rashes, you will know how upsetting and frustrating it is caring for your skin.

Sensitive skins may react to the many chemicals such as synthetic fragrances and parabens found in commercial skincare, even skin care specifically for sensitive skin.

Many people with sensitive skins turn to natural skin care to gently soothe, nourish and protect their skin, such as skin care free from parabens, harsh chemicals and skin irritants with natural active ingredients. [Read more →]

Fab review for Goddess Treatment Balm

    August 28th, 2008 by Sharon
    Respond

I’m so thrilled at a wonderful review by Dr Nicola Thomas, aka the GIN lady:

“Another ‘miracle’ product is by Maia Skin Care. Their Goddess Treatment Balm contains no animal products, not even beeswax. Instead Maia uses avocado butters and olive wax and as such is so silky smooth.

It’s easily the best beauty flash balm product around. I would definitely recommend getting online and becoming an early adopter of Maia Skin Care. “

See the review for yourself: http://www.marmaladya.com/london-everywhere/features/health-beauty/beauty-goddess-skin/ and buy the Goddess Treatment Balm here.
    Thank you Nicola!

    Aromatherapy, lavender in skin care

Before I start I want to get something off my chest!

In my mind there are two types of aromatherapy and unfortunately it is not always immediately obvious as to which type is being used in the vast array of aromatherapy skin care, bath and body products available.

If you want to benefit from aromatherapy you need to know the difference between the two types of aromatherapy:   [Read more →]
